Ms. Hudson lived in Pawhuska, OK until she was 10 and then moved to Universal City, TX (suburb of San Antonio) for a year and then moved to Cedar Vale, KS where she graduated from high school in 1982. She attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK where she earned a Bachelor of Science majoring in Agricultural Economics-Business and Marketing Option. After working for the Oklahoma State Department of Health for a year, she went to work for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Division of Liquidation and spent the next 6 years closing banks in the Midwest and also the New England area. When the Oklahoma City FDIC closed, she returned to OSU to earn her Business Education teaching certificate. Ms. Hudson’s first teaching job was at Bartlesville Mid High School where she taught keyboarding, word processing, business computer applications, and entrepreneurship for nine years. This is Ms. Hudson’s first year at Dewey Middle School where she is teaching 7th grade math, Title I Math, and after school tutoring. Ms. Hudson enjoys reading and spending time with her family in her spare time. She and her son, Dayton (a sophomore at Sedan High School), spend the summer going to rodeos in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri where Dayton and his dad work for a rodeo company.
